Dr. Hutchinson sees patients either for consultation or for ongoing psychiatric treatment. Often a good relationship is already in place with a psychotherapist or doctor, but some expertise is needed to define a new direction in that work.

Here, the emphasis is on an extended evaluation; however, care usually  continues  in the primary care setting and/or therapist's office. ​Alternatively, Dr. Hutchinson may be able to provide ongoing treatment. And if more specialized care or evaluation is needed, she refers to other colleagues or agencies.
